intro

I'd like to share about life and education as well as to learn and teach English to reach Well English through Welcome English on http://wel-english.blogspot.com and all blogs linked to this. Sharing is one of the ways to keep learning many things...as well as gaining "something" from every single sharing we make. Special for WELCOME ENGLISH readers, WELL ENGLISH is what we need to achieve, to improve our English competence.

Dealing with TOEFL and IELTS

These kinds of English tests are required when you are willing to continue your study abroad.
So if you are interested in registering yourselves for the test, make sure that you have made enough preparation, cause you have to spend money quite a lot--I mean, it would be a great loss, if you simply join the test without preparation, then....( no wonde)get failed.

It's not only about making yourselves learning English in tight schedule before "the day", but also about knowing THE STRUCTURE of the test. You should realize that those two tests have their own characteristics. So, actually this is also the key to pass the test successfully, besides your English competency (indeed).

But no worries...
in this era, you don't have to spend much money for expensive course--especially if your English is not "too bad". You can use the advantage of the internet. There are lots of free websites that will be helpful in giving you samples and also simulations (online), either TOEFL or IELTS.
So please, just take your time to browse. However, you should remember, you will need intensive practice, so make sure to manage your schedule for that need.

Happy learning and good luck with the test.

Chatting Camp--Getting Involved Actively

When a student are learning a language, especially the foreign one, he must have an idea of being able to use the language actively. Well, it's because of the nature of language--it exists as a device for communication--both in written and oral forms.

Miss Tyas who is teaching the second grade class (the 8th year)has been applying her "Chatting Camp" method to help her students speak English better. This method gives more chance to her students to speak more spontaneously, more fluently, with more self confidence. The students also have a lot of opportunities to apply the common expressions they have got so far, including some grammatical structure which seems simple but hard to apply because of lack of practice in usage.

There are some steps which students should follow to complete this method and prove their gain in improving English speaking competence. As long as they are serious (but still getting some fun) and cooperative, they are going to get benefits from these Chatting Camp sessions. That's why, she always motivates her students to get involved actively in every session to get the best result, in the end ....

Did him make you angry?

Now...let's use adjectives for more challenging description! Showing admiration or amazement....

How + adj + (S) + (to be)
How beautiful she is

How patient my mother is How noisy my siblings are
How nice my sisters are

See? Easy, right? :-)

Now your turn! Try to observe people and things around you
